Find concise answers to common gameplay questions in NexRide, from starting your motorcycle and avoiding police fines to optimizing delivery cash and buying upgrades. Every answer reflects confirmed gameplay footage and official game data checked in November 2026.

Starting out

Why does my bike not move when I press W?

To get your motorcycle moving, you must complete four initial startup actions: equip your bike key by pressing 1, unlock the motorcycle, turn on the ignition switch, and raise the kickstand. Pressing W accelerates forward only after the kickstand is raised and the engine is running.

Where do I spawn when joining the game?

New riders spawn directly outside a residential house with an adjacent garage. Your starter motorcycle is parked inside this garage, unlocked and ready to ride at zero cash cost.

Why will my bike not drive after charging?

If your motorcycle was plugged into a power post, you must manually unplug the charging cable before mounting and throttling up. The vehicle remains locked in place while tethered to a charger.

What happens if I run a red light in the city?

City streets are patrolled by AI traffic police in cruiser cars. Running a red light in front of an officer initiates an active pursuit accompanied by an on-the-run timer. If you are caught by police, an immediate cash fine is deducted from your balance.

Money and codes

What is the fastest way to earn cash in NexRide?

Running back-to-back Next Dash deliveries through your phone provides the most reliable continuous income. Single deliveries paid between $166 and $400 in the recordings we watched, and jobs have no cooldown waiting periods. For route tips and payout rankings, read our guide on How to get money fast.

Where do I redeem NexRide codes?

Press T to pull up your smartphone, tap the store icon, select the CODES tab, and type or paste your phrase into the text field. Active codes grant immediate cash rewards ranging from $1,500 to $10,000 as well as timed 2x cash boosters. Check our verified list on NexRide codes.

Are stunt wheelies worth doing for income?

Stunts award small supplemental earnings rather than primary income. In recorded gameplay, an 18.5-second continuous wheelie paid $39 (roughly $2 per second), and a near miss with traffic awarded $3. Use wheelies and near misses for pocket change along straight roads while traveling between delivery stops.

Do Next Dash deliveries have a waiting cooldown?

No. Gameplay recordings confirmed that riders can open their phone and accept a new delivery order immediately upon completing a dropoff, without any forced waiting intervals.

Bikes and upgrades

What does the first new bike cost in the shop?

The electric bike introduced in late October was recorded in showroom gameplay at 7,000 cash. To compare confirmed prices and vehicle capabilities, review Bike prices and upgrades.

Can I buy bikes through my phone?

Yes. You can purchase motorcycles either by visiting the physical showroom dealership at Bike Hub or by opening the Next Markets application on your in-game smartphone. Purchased vehicles transfer directly to your home garage.

Where do I install motor and battery upgrades?

All vehicle tuning is handled inside your personal home garage. The garage interface features upgrade slots for battery capacity and motor output, including an Elite tier motor that improves top acceleration on delivery runs.

Can I repaint my bike without buying expensive performance parts?

Yes. Visual customization is separate from mechanical performance. You can repaint individual bike components, such as recoloring only the frame, directly in the garage menu without purchasing performance upgrades.
